Life-long tree hugger and serial entrepreneur, Alysha discovered her green thumb during the pandemic, and began a backyard tree farm as a hobby. Soon faced with an overwhelming collection of potted plants, she founded treeDC as an effort to donate trees for planting in areas of need.

Director of Community Outreach
Environmental enthusiast, native to the DC area, and actively connected within her community, Lynn became a natural contributor to treeDC. She now leads our Community Outreach efforts, organizing volunteers and supply donations. If you have baby trees growing in your flowerbeds, please reach out for more information about donating to our Foster program. We’ll foster them in pots until they’re big enough for replanting.
